Volos is a coastal port city located in the middle of mainland Greece. It was the homeland of mythological hero Jason, who boarded the ship Argo accompanied by the Argonauts and sailed in quest of the Golden Fleece to Colchis. Nowadays, it is an important industrial center and its port provides a bridges Europe, Middle East and Asia.
