Patmos Excursions

It is known as the ‘’Sacred Island of the Aegean’’. In 1999, was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A “religious” destination, Patmos Is known for the Holy Monastery of the Apocalypse which was built as a castle in 1088 and it recognized as a Cultural and religious center since and the Cave of the Apocalypse where Saint John wrote the book of Revelation. Alternatively follow the historical narrow streets all the way from the monastery down to the capital town “Skala” and you will have the chance to find restaurants, cafes, shops and traditional bakeries.
